I'm new to the Old Gods of Appalachia Roleplaying Game (or RPGs in general). Which items do I need?
The Old Gods of Appalachia Roleplaying Game corebook contains everything you need to play, other than some standard gaming supplies: pencils, maybe some scratch paper or a notebook, and some gaming dice (in particular, the Cypher System uses a d20, a d6, and percentile dice). Because it’s an existing item, and we’re crowdfunding new titles to go with it, we aren’t offering it as a standalone item in this campaign. But all of the New to the Family pledge levels include the corebook–we included those levels just for you!
(If you want only the corebook, you can order it right now via the MCG Shop: www.montecookgames.com/store)
The other items offered through this campaign–the new books, Prop Set, dice, and so on–are extras that add to the immersion of the experience and make running and organizing your adventures and characters that much faster and easier.

I signed up to be notified before the campaign, or pledged within the first 48 hours. How do I get my special Jack's Fate pendant?
Your pendant will be automatically added to your rewards. You don’t need to do anything to make that happen. You’ll get it with other rewards when they fulfill. (You get this special Jack’s Fate even if you back at a PDF-only level–you’ll have to pay for shipping at the time it fulfills, though.)
You might also get the standard Jack’s Fate pendant by backing at a pledge level that includes it, or as an add-on. That will be a standard pendant, and your special one will have the exclusive alt finish.

Is there a pledge level if I just want add-ons?
We’re making some cool things for this campaign, and we appreciate your interest in our non-game add-ons. While we don’t have plans to include an add-on only pledge level, many of the items we’re making will be available for retail purchase upon their release. (Those marked Limited Edition are likely to only be available through this campaign.)

Will I be able to make a pledge, or upgrade my pledge, after the campaign?
We intend to make late pledges available following the campaign, and backers will be able to upgrade their pledges, and add add-ons, in the pledge manager.
As always, to absolutely ensure you don’t miss out, our advice is to back the campaign even if it’s at a lower level than you want. This will ensure that you’re in the pledge manager, where you can make upgrades if you like, after the campaign closes.

Can I get these books later, or are they exclusive to this campaign?
The key titles offered through this campaign—Dig Your Own Grave, All Your Gods Are Dead, and Come Hell or High Water—will be available through the MCG Shop, finer game stores, and other places you buy TTRPG products. Some of the other items (such as the dice set) will probably be available through the MCG Shop, but not in stores. And a few (the witch jar and T-shirt, for example) are limited-edition items made just for this campaign, and will probably not be available at any other time. We can’t provide a definitive answer for every item, so if there are items you want beyond the primary books, your best bet is to pledge for them—particularly since the deals offered through these pledge levels are fantastic!

How long do I have to adjust my pledge after I back this campaign?
We intend to keep the pledge manager open for at least a few months after the campaign closes.

When will my rewards be ready, and how will I get them?
Check the Timeline section of the main campaign page for info on when we expect to ship rewards.
And be sure to read the Shipping section of the main campaign page. There’s a link there to a detailed description of our fulfillment process.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
